Dear Sarah
We are writing to thank you and your colleagues for all the hard work that you have done on our behalf to help us obtain our permanent residence visas. Without your guidance and help, I'm sure that we would have given up the paper chase a long time ago.
As you said, it takes a long time for the application to be processed, but here we are with just over a week to go until we fly out to Perth WA.
We are both looking forward to eventually moving to Australia. After months of planning and writing lists of things to do, we finally have had time to realize that our lives are about to change in a really exciting way.
To anybody who may read this letter while thinking about emigrating, it's worth the wait and effort. At times you may feel like giving up, but persevere and you'll get what you want. We did!
Again, thank you very much for all of your efforts Sarah, it is greatly appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Ian & Catherine B. (IT Systems Programmer)
Dear Mandy
Emigration to New Zealand
I thought it appropriate to drop you a line before we leave these shores to thank you and the team at The Emigration Group for the part you have played in our getting to NZ.
Whilst we only contracted you to provide a Checking Service for our LTBV application you were always available for help, advice or to simply just listen. We had no end of problems with the LTBV but you were always able to offer some guidance and it was greatly appreciated.
It was also many thanks to you that we finally realised we could go in on a General Visa application when you noted one of your other clients had succeeded where we had all thought we would not, some 10 months earlier. That degree of knowledge of all your clients has paid off handsomely for us and we are more than grateful and it is in its own right a worthy testimony to your Company.
You very kindly then offered to check that application and suffice to say that what with the contacts we had built up through our trials and tribulations and your help through your contacts the Visa was assessed and granted within a week of our application …. and now we leave in the next few days.
All is total chaos here and emotions are ranging from fear to exhilaration to tears at saying our goodbyes …. perhaps we will blame you for that!!!!
Many thanks once again and do not forget to come and see us when you are next in NZ!
Yours, in thanks
Mike and Alex C. (Financial Planner)
Dear Diane
I am writing to you to express many thanks for all the help, support and patience you have given over the past 6 months.
When times have seemed difficult for me and Matt you have been one reassuring voice that has motivated me to keep on track. Always acting very professional but also very personal and friendly. I can honestly say that we could not have done this without you, I have and would advise people to go through The Emigration Group as you have taken all the stress out of our New Zealand visa application. At first I thought it a little expensive but can now appreciate why and it is money well spent as it has got us where we wanted to be.
I would also like to thank Sally who has also helped in your absence and had the pleasure of passing on our good news.
Many thanks again Diane.
Kind regards
Sarah and Matt R. (Precision Toolmaker)
Dear Sally
The Cox family would like to thank you very much indeed for the tremendous support you gave us during the stressful process of applying for our visa. It seems to have gone on and on, but you have managed to remain upbeat and cheerful throughout. We particularly appreciate how thoughtfully you have kept us abreast of progress. Finally, it was good to meet you, albeit briefly, at the Emigration Exhibition at Sandown Park and to find you really are so upbeat and friendly in the flesh!
With our very best wishes for the future.
Yours with thanks,
Steve, Linda, Megan, Kyle C.(Management Training Consultant)
Dear Sally
Hi, I hope you are well.
Firstly, I would like to say a ‘HUGE' thank you to yourself and the team for helping me with an application, and making it possible to live in New Zealand on a permanent basis. Your service has been excellent throughout, and I have recommended yourselves to quite a few other people hoping to emigrate. So I can't thank you enough for that.
Just let me know if you fancy a trip to NZ. You deserve it after all your hard work.
My brother Jonathan and his family have arrived and really love NZ. He is currently looking for employment and will be in touch with you in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you once again,
Best regards,
Michelle W. (Textile Designer)
Dear Geoff, Sally and all Staff at the Emigration Group
Firstly our apologies for not getting in touch before now, things have been quite hectic but as you can see we made it!
It is now just over 2 years since we came to that first meeting at your Chester office on a cold very wet day early in January. Well we finally managed to leave the UK on the 15th of September 02. We are still living in rented accommodation but are due to move into our own home in March. It has 22 acres of land, mountain view, swimming pool, 4 bedrooms plus space to convert into a self contained flat for guests or to rent out and just 10 minutes from the sea and beautiful beaches and an hours drive to the nearest ski fields. It is truly a very beautiful part of New Zealand and we still find it hard to believe we live here.
Our Children Jessica and Peter have settled very well into their new school with opportunities to do so many different activities. They both now have part time holiday jobs for the summer looking really well and happy .Geoff is now enjoying working at a local engineering firm getting into the New Zealand way of doing things.
I have been doing some supply teaching for the Nelson Kindergarten Association which has been a very valuable experience and good introduction to the New Zealand Education system. I have now been offered a full time teaching post near Nelson to start in January.
We have been busy exploring this beautiful place and trying out different sporting activities. Geoff has been hunting and shot a deer, we have been scalloping and diving for cray fish (lobster) Santa has brought us a boat for Christmas so more fish for the freezer and endless family pleasure on the water.
We definitely are enjoying a better quality of life out here. We have no regrets only that we should have done it years ago. It was a big risk for us at our age (nearly 50) and 2 teenage children but we knew it was now or never.
We hear now that the points have now gone up to 30 and realise how lucky we are to have obtained our residence visa's when we did and this we could not have achieved without your help. Thank you all so much. You were always so efficient, knew exactly what we needed to do, when and how to do it, taking all the worry out of the form filling in. Sally was always there for advice and support. We were amazed when we heard our application for residence had been approved on the 29th of May 2001, taking only 5 months from our first meeting with you. Over here the Kindergarten Association couldn't believe that I had arrived with my qualifications already assessed and full teacher registration hence I could start work immediately. Again this was all down to you.
Thank all for helping us to achieve our dream.
Helen and Geoff R. (Teacher)
Hi Sally,
Just a line to confirm the safe return of our Passports complete with Residence Permits.
I would just like to say once again ‘Thank you' for all of your assistance during the past 18 months in achieving this goal!! The service we received from The Emigration Group Ltd and in particular yourself has been above our expectations. Thank you for guiding us through the whole process in such a professional manner whilst remaining a friendly adviser throughout the period.
If ever you would wish to contact us for recommendations or just as a contact for someone else about to begin the path of the emigration process then please do not hesitate to do so.
Yours with kindest regards,
Martin Bevan (Engineer)
Dear Ian
We are most grateful for the help and support The Emigration Group afforded to us during our application for residence in New Zealand. The care and professionalism shown throughout the application process was highly supportive. Certainly, the whole process appears daunting at the outset, and it was reassuring to know that someone was always on hand to answer all our queries and help speed the whole process up.
We leave for New Zealand on the 30th August, with great anticipation and a bright outlook for the future.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Brooks (Dentist)
Sally
Thanks very much for the e-mail. The passports and visas arrived this morning in the post, so we've got lots to do now.
Please pass on our thanks to everyone in your office who helped with the application process. I'm so pleased to be able to say that it's all been worth it.
I've recommended you to a few other couples who we know, who are considering emigrating. One couple, I believe are already signed up with you; the Goss family from Camberley and there is another couple who want to go to New Zealand (Dawn & Phil, not sure of the surname though. They are from our road).
Anyway, we'll be in touch and let you know when we're going and how we get on.
Thanks again
Mark Nelson (Electrician)
Dear Sally
Please accept these gifts as our way of saying thank you for your assistance with our New Zealand application. Without your assistance I'm sure we wouldn't have obtained our visas with our sanities intact.
Please pass on our thanks and best wishes to everyone in the team.
Lots of love
Rachel Wiscombe (Sales Manager)
