Queensland release 2012 State Migration Plan

The Queensland Government has now released its 2012 State Migration Plan (SMP) and eligible skills list. It is immediately effective for applicants intending/requiring Queensland Government State Sponsorship.
There has been numerous changes across different industries, but importantly is the inclusion of trade’s professionals in occupations such as Welding, Electrical and Carpentry.
State Sponsorship is now the preferred visa route for many Skilled Migrants. If successfully sponsored it provides additional points to your total points score and your application will be given priority processing by the Australia Department of Immigration.
