The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 20 February 2013: 454 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above: 366 with job offer 88 without job offer 105 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand. A total of 559 EOIs representing 1,148 people were therefore selected Conclusion: Only 19% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 81% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
