The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 22 August 2012
415 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
327 with job offer
88 without job offer
98 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
42 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 130 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 555 EOIs representing 1,190 people were therefore selected
Conclusion: Only 17% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 83% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
