New Zealand Expression of Interest Results 31 October
The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 31 October 2012:
411 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
321 with job offer
90 without job offer
195 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
75 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 130 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 586 EOIs representing 1,244 people were therefore selected
Conclusion: Only 22% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 78% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
