New Zealand Expression of Interest Results 3 April 2013
The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 3 April 2013:
380 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
303 with job offer
77 without job offer
119 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
91 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 135 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 590 EOIs were therefore selected .
Conclusion: Only 20% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 80% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
