Manpower recently produced Australia’s 2011 Talent Shortage Survey to illustrate some of the most in demand jobs in Australia.
54 per cent of employers in Australia are having difficulty filling key positions in their business and have started to look overseas for skilled workers that can help meet those demands. Currently the most sought after positions in the country are:
- Skilled trades (including plumbers, electricians, metal fitters, mechanics, chefs, hairdressers and carpenters)
- Engineers
- Mechanics
